Our girl has been confirmed having 'hand, foot & mouth disease' (HFMD). It was really a heartache to see her with those redness and mouth ulcers. Thank goodness that she does not develop high fever at all...however there are lots of red 'blisters' on her palms and feet.
We did not have any ideas how she got this disease...no matter how strict we are with the cleanliness...by having the hand sanitizers and wet tissues handy :( .

At first, she complained that she had some pain in her mouth and when I checked into her mouth, I found out two mouth ulcers and I really thought they were normal. Then on the next day, she cried and rejected foods and milk. I felt something must have gone wrong so I checked her palms and feet....yes...there were some blisters!!! *alarmed + panicked*
We rushed her to the private clinic and yes...it is HFMD. She must be quarantined at home for a week and together with Habibi too!
We applied this gel into her mouth ulcers..as advised by the doctor, the function of the gel is to numb her mouth so that she can eat and drink milk normally. Yes...this gel has worked wonders...
Since this disease is a viral infection...so there is no specific medicine prescribed. The panadol syrup was given only to kill the pain in the mouth. The doctor advised us to give her yogurt drinks and soft foodies only.

Syukur alhamdullilah today (Day 4) she eats normally and I can see the mouth ulcers almost disappear and the blisters on her palms and feet are also subsiding. Hopefully by Day 7 of quarantine, all the mouth ulcers and blisters will disappear totally.
She requested for some fried chicken skin...haha...I would cook anything as long as she eats...get well soon love...
