This morning our school has invited an officer from the Turtle Management & Conservation Department to deliver a talk on how to care and love our turtles by conserving these nearly-extinct animals.
The officer and our headmaster were on stage to deliver the talk.
Below, the teachers and the interested plus curious pupils were listening to the talk and the slide presentation...very interesting.
A turtle and a tortoise were brought in.....so that the pupils can differentiate between these two reptiles. The pupils and teachers are allowed to feel, to touch and to hold the turtle too!
....and of course....I won't miss the chance to hold this 3-year-old famous fellow (^_^) and it was very heavy. When I showed this picture to Habibi and Habibati...they really wish to touch this reptile too. Now I notice that the colour of my baju kurung synchronized the colour of the turtle!
