A Fine Morning at the Jerudong Seaside

The kids keeps on whining to be brought to the beach. So after the previous 'failure'.....we decided to make them happy yesterday morning by granting their wish. We drove off to the beach as early as 8 in the morning. Thank goodness...the weather was perfect enough for us to beach-walk...and to build sandcastles.
See the kids....both of them wanted to take up the front passenger seat. Ummi had to withdraw....and sat at the back watching them.
Arriving there...actually this was the the kids' first time to step on the beach. They only know about beaches, sandcastles, seashells, picnic etc.... from their school and on television.
I really love this picture of us holding each others' hands...

Habibi was quite afraid of the small waves hitting his legs...but after that...hmmmmm....he did not want to go back home!
Habibati was very much excited too.....but he asked me if there were crocodiles and big blue whales...LOL...The foodies and drinks that I could pack into the picnic bag...(^_^)....This was built by Habibi and Ayah...This one was made by Habibati and me...it looked more like a birthday cake ..(^_^)..
Watching the beautiful clouds.....up above the blue sky...
While we were enjoying our time...there was a middle-aged man who had his car tyres stuck into the beach sand. My hubby became the "hero of the day" .....(*,^)....
Habibati was very curious with these little "sand balls" and I told her that it was the home of the small crabs. This was one of the cute crabs that Habibi ran after. Ayah took it for the kids to have a clear observation on this little fellow's body parts. Then I asked Habibati to free the little crab and she said she wanted to give the little crab a new home....which was the sandcastle! *giggles* The crab slowly dug itself into the sand but.....look below....
.....Habibi tried to pull the crab again up!
We packed up and left the beach at around 10 plus as it was getting hotter already. Of course the kids were reluctant to go home....we promised them to come here again some other days. We had our brunch again....the yummy dosai set at the Kedai Mamak....(^,^)....

Help...My Head Got Stuck!!

It is normal for children to insert their head into anything they think are 'cool' to their eyes such as boxes, plastic bags, small bags, pillow covers....almost anything. This had happen to Habibi....too bad....his head got stuck!

Actually he wanted to make the cylindrical toy box as his hat. Unfortunately.....his head got stuck into it. I was panicked at first but still managed to grab my camera and snapped some pictures of the incidence...^_^...
He still could draw a smile on his face..... @_@....may be he thought I was taking his picture for fun...LOL...
Now.....he started to become panic too.......
I had to slide it slowly up to the left and to the right and I warned him to be relax. I asked him if it had hurt him...but he said "NO". So brave lah our boy! hahaha

Then at last.....He was so happy to the max....(^.^)...that his head was freed at last! I could see some red patches on his forehead. I will keep away the toy box for sometime. So mummies out there....please beware of such incidence ok...

What an experience for Habibi...!

I just made it simple...

I started off the day.......by having chicken mayonnaise sandwiches and a cup of coffee.
It was simple enough....shredded chicken breast, mayonnaise, garlic powder and black pepper. As for the kids...I must ask what they would like to eat.
Rice porridge with spinach and chicken for Habibati.....
...................and prata for Habibi. It is very hard to get him eat rice. He only likes to eat prata, bread and buns. But when we have lunch out.....unexpectedly he would eat rice...@_@...
When Ayah went home during lunch time...we had Nachos crisps dipped in chicken mayonnaise again...it was nice in deed.....

It's the Maal Hijrah Public Holiday

We went to my parents-in-law's crib to have lunch together there. When we reached there...we found out only my FIL and hubby's eldest sister were at home...the others are still on their holiday trip to Sabah. Nevertheless...we had our nice lunch together there with my FIL....(^,^)....

We decided to make a move after lunch at around 2 p.m. to go to Seri Kenangan Beach. The kids were excited to go to the beach although this was actually not our real plan as the weather was not cooperative enough.......it rained heavily.

But as the weather was getting fine....hubby chose to drive along the village road to enjoy the village scenery. However...there were floods all the way.
Hubby told me...this village (few kilometres away from my hubby's village) is always flooded and most of the villagers are always prepared. Thus...I could see most of the villagers have their own small boats!
The soldiers were on duty....in case there were emergency cases......good job!When Habibati and I looked at the back of the car....waaaah...we felt like we were cruising on a boat! I felt so scared too because we were on my small car....suzuki swift only maaaaa.....(^_^).....but syukur.....everything was fine.

Habibati said that our car was like the Little Einstein's jet that could float on water...hehehehe....

When we reached the beach.....something frustrating had happened.......guess why???
.......not because of the weather........the weather was very lovely............it was perfect for beach-walking and beach-motorbiking.....
........I could see the kids' favourite Mr Softy's van was patiently waiting for our kids......

~so frustrated~

~so unhappy~

as the kids were.......
.......having their nice....cozy....comfy....afternoon nap in the car!!! @_@. But as soon as they woke up....they asked for the beach! hahaha

Then we drove back home and had a 'pit-stop' at our favourite Mamak Restaurant. I planned to treat my family there. Guess what...? Another frustrating thing had happened again....
......the fried meehoon that I ordered was beyond my expectation....very NOT yummy as it used to be. It turned down my mood. I felt terribly sad and felt like crying on the spot. I think my hubby could read my mind....he eventually paid the meals we ordered. He even 'vacuumed' my neglected meal...(^^,)...

Note for darling hubby ~~> Thank you sweetie....for being understanding....and I am very sorry for being moody (-_-').

Then at around 8p.m.....my tummy started to growl....there were butterflies in my tummy....so I ended up with this fellow!
My chicken mayonnaise sandwich. I didn't have salads so I just used the 'sawi putih' to bring up the taste of the sandwich..hehehehe....I even dragged my hubby to accompany me in the kitchen. We had our real good time with the sandwiches....!

Shooting The Castle

The kids and Ayah invented a new shooting game using the disposed necktie boxes, rubber bands and the 'sort-of-Lego' blocks. They worked out things together and in the end they had real fun with their invention...
Habibati was trying her best to fix her own 'shooting weapon'.....
Habibi was targeting the castle and then.....shot!
What happen to Ayah?
Pengsan!! hahaha

My Rainbow Cake

Yesterday afternoon...I baked this cake with our boy as the 'helper'....... *LOL*

The recipe I got from the internet and luckily the outcome could satisfy my craving...(*;*)....

The ingredients :
250g butter
220g castor sugar (but it's very sweet for me and next time...I will use only 180g)
4 eggs (grade A)
220g Prima cake flour
50m low-fat milk
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon chocolate emulco
Vanilla essence
Any favourite colourings

Steps:
1. Using the cake mixer, beat butter and castor sugar until fluffy and white.
2. Add in egg one by one.
3. Alternately put in the cake flour+baking powder and milk.
4. Divide the barter into portions you like...as for me...3 portions....the green with vanilla essence, chocolate emulco and pink.

I couldn't make the rainbow design...hehehe...I need more practice ya.. (^_^)
Enjoy the slices...
Today...the cake is in the size of a quarter already.....*giggles*...
The texture is soft and fluffy....very nice...

A dedication to the Man of My Life

For The Rest of My Life - Maher Zain

I praise Allah for sending me you my love

You found your home and sail with me

And I’m here with you

Now let me let you know

You’ve opened my heart

I was always thinking that love was wrong

But everything was changed when you came along

And there is a couple of words I wanna say

~~~~~~~~~
For the rest of my life
I`ll be with you
I`ll stay by your side honest and true
Till the end of my time
I`ll be loving you, loving you
For the rest of my life
Through days and nights
I`ll thank Allah for opening my eyes
Now and forever I`ll be there for you
I know it deep in my heart
I feel so blessed when I think of you
And I ask Allah to bless all we do
You’re my husband and my friend and my strength
And I pray we’re together in Jannah
All I know I found myself
I feel so strong
Yes....every thing was changed when you came along
And there is a couple of words I wanna say
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

I know deep in my heart

And now that you’re here in front of me

I strongly feel love

I strongly feel love

And I have no doubt

And I sing it loud that I will love you eternally

I know it deep in my heart

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
