Our Mulberry Plant

I am very glad that it is bearing fruits again after the stems were pruned by my dear hubby. This plant must always be pruned regularly to avoid it become very tall and fruitless. The more we prune the stem, the more it would bear fruits. *happy mode*

The previous berries were always eaten by birds...I guess, the birdies now understand the sense of sharing...(^^,)...Thanks birdie love...

Remember my entry about the mulberries? This is the mulberry plant that my friend gave me. This is actually the stem-cutting of the main tree.

That's my friend with the main mulberry tree....looking for the berries. According to her, the tree can grow high, thus the stems have to be pruned often so that this tree becomes shady and can bear more berries. I hope this plant will grow well in my garden....wish me luck! Thanks :D
