Special Entry For Kak Lin

This is one of the popular traditional dishes from Sarawak which is called Bubur Pedas Sarawak. I got the blended spices for such dish from Yanti's mom *thanks Aunty *. I love this dish very much but it is hard to get or buy the blended spices locally here.
These were what I had for making the bubur pedas....fresh prawns......
Above ~ Sayur lemiding
Below ~ Fu Chok
Below ~ Some sliced chilies and fresh mushrooms.....
So this was it.....yummy.....

There are different versions of cooking the bubur pedas. My mom said I have put lots of lemiding..but...yummy still!

Wow... my fav.. lemiding... oh you all pun panggil lemiding ya... hihihi... aduh terpaksa lah aku mencari hutan2 utk cari sayur ni... kempunan org sini oiii... ^_^

CathJ ~ Can you find this sayur kat semenanjung? So what do they call this type of edible ferns? Tak logic nak hantarkan via post, ye tak? Kesian my friend..psssst...mengidam ke? :)

kalo kat semenanjung ada orang panggil pucuk paku merah, tapi orang terengganu panggil pucuk midin :)

BoeyJoey ~ Yea..this sounds pretty weird..even to my friends here..but once they try..mmm...

Ellis ~ ooo...now I know kat semenanjung pun ada. Sedap tau..ferns ni kalau kita tumis je with udang kering/pusu(ikan bilis) kering pun sedap jugak.

TC ~ aaaaa...betul tu...suruh je Kaklin bawa ke sekolah, pas tu post the entry..hehhee..mesti sedap air tangan kaklin tu..:D

Looks so yummy. The blended spices make it easy huh. But I've never this dish before. :P
