The Wild Birds' Cherries...

Birds love to come here and eat these sweet luscious cherries. We seldom get the cherries. My mom always says just 'sedekah' to the birds....so that the tree will bear more fruits. However, when I got back from school...I saw few 'pinkies' in between the leaves. I straight went nearer....and I was astonished to see some pink cherries spared by the birds. *thanks dear birdies*
The lovely white cherry bloom....
These were the cherries...actually the colour of the ripe cherries should be bright red but my hands were very itchy to pluck them instantly....or the birdies would snatch them away...and we would end up with nothing to nibble....*winks*
Now another scene.....
My kids would not miss the chance to go out when they see me plucking the cherries...happy to see me :)Above ~ Just look at Habibi's happy pose here...
Below ~ ...and Habibati too... When they go out..they would never want to get inside again.....my maid, mom and I have to play 'catch and run' with them..... @~@

Guess what Ummi, my parents home also planted the tree before.
You are right, the cherries will become very red when it has ripe.
And during my childhood time, I always use the young cherries as a gasing (top). It is very fun game.

To be honest, we feel a bit geli with the texture of the cherry. So we never try eating it before.
