Hari Raya Mode

Our living room has transformed into something 'nicer' as hubby and I managed to carry out our 'duties' peacefully when the kids were asleep. But most of the times...the kids were actively involved in the process of the transformation! (*,*)
This is my favourite corner of the living room.....
Hubby's idea.....
The kids' love to sit and 'disturb' this zone...
See....see....*giggles*
The kids seem to be very excited with the 'make over' although we believe they have not yet understood about what actually hari raya is all about. *LOL*

Ok now...just pretend we are having hari raya here...these are what we have to serve you with....
These are the cookies....*clock-wise* biskut sagu, biskut coffee rangup and my homemade biskut sarang semut. Actually I also have my must-have kueh mor...but purposely I do not serve it...as our kids will always make a mess with it....I ordered the kueh mor for "personal feast" only!

Now let's us go down the memory lane....
This picture of hubby and I was drawn by a Malaysian caricaturist when we visited the Aquaria KLCC back in 2005. I wasn't satisfied with the outcome as I could not see 'us' in the caricature. My hubby looked like Hail Amir instead! hehehehehe I treasure the above picture....we were in Langkawi on our honeymoon in 2001...I can't recall the name of the hotel but it was located by the beach. Habibati's ultra sound printed pictures and her picture few minutes after her birth....she was very pink when she was born.
Thanksgiving ceremony...
More caricatures and carbon portraits...
Sweet moments when the kids were small....
The collection of old vases...but I have to keep these vase 'dried-flowerless' this year as Habibi loves to pull the dried flowers sticks and use them as his weapons....!

Not many real plants kept in-door as the kids can't get their "hands off" these fellows....*will post the stories next time*Another personal treasures....the dried roses presented by hubby....some of them were already too old and dried to be kept...so I had to throw them away...*expecting MORE roses from you dearest soul-mate a.k.a hubby*

Ok...selamat hari raya....maaf zahir dan batin....

Ummi, your house look gorgeous! Everything is perfect; the lighting, colours and plant.

May I know what is the name of the flower shape cookies which is in assorted colours? I have seen it selling at the shop.
